Data gathered during the registration process

  1. User by signing into the XBMS service provides his/her data on a voluntary basis.
  2. During the registration the User provides login and password protecting the user's account in the XBMS service.
  3. Login and password should be protected by the User from use by unauthorised persons.

Automatically gathered data

  1. When the User visits the XBMS service, information about the IP address, domain name, browser type and operating system type is gathered automatically. These data can be gathered by "cookies" as well
  2. The service also gathers such data as: e-mail address and IP address of persons, who use the contact form.

The use of data by the XBMS service

  1. Data provided by the User during the registration process is used to allow the User to log in the XBMS service in order to access the system documentation and to send XBMS newsletter.
  2. Registration in the XBMS service is necessary if the User wants to download files from the documentation zone or the designer zone.
  3. Registration in the service means consent to receive XBMS newsletter.
  4. Automatically gathered data can be used to personalize the content of the XBMS service.
  5. Data gathered with a registration form are used for correspondence with the User.
  6. Customer data can be made available to the General Inspector for Personal Data Protection and law enforcement authorities and justice authorities under the law.

Data change

  1. The User has the right to complete, update, rectify, omission processing, remove personal data if they are incomplete, outdated, untrue or gathered in violation of the law or are no longer required for the purpose for which they were gathered.
  2. Other rights and responsibilities of the Customer in the field of personal data are specified by the law of 29th August 1997 on the protection of personal data (the Journal of Laws of 2002, No 101, item 926 as amended).

"Cookies" policy

  1. "Cookies" mean information data, in particular text files, stored on end-users devices, and intended to use web pages of the XBMS service. These files allow identification of the user's device and view web page adjusted to the individual preferences. "Cookies" usually contain the name of the web page from which they are derived, storage time on the end device and a unique number.
  2. "Cookies" are used in order to adapt the content on the web page to the user's preferences and to optimize use of the web pages. In addition, they are used to create anonymous, aggregated statistics, which help to understand how the user uses the web pages, which allows improving their structure and content, excluding personal user identification.
  3. Personal information gathered from "cookies" can be gathered only in order to perform a specific function for the user. Such data are encrypted so as to prevent unauthorized access.
  4. The standard software for web pages browsing by default allows "cookies" placement on the end-device. These settings can be changed in such a way as to block automatic "cookies" operation on the Internet browser settings or to inform about each transfer to the user's device.
  5. Detailed information about opportunities and methods to operate "cookies" is available in the software (the Internet browser).
  6. "Cookies" use restriction may affect some of the functionality available on the web page.
