The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management - National Research Institute is a research and development unit, established by the resolution of the Council of Ministers in December 1972, by the merger of the State Hydrological and Meteorological Institute and Institute of Water Management. The main tasks of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management cover conducting systematic hydrological and meteorological measurements and observations. Therefore, the Institute collects, stores, processes, and provides domestic and foreign measurement and observation materials in order to meet the needs of society, the national economy and national defence.

The BMS system in IMGW data center includes monitoring of precision cooling, ventilation, UPS, power generator, power analyzers in the main switchgear and others. The monitoring also including intrusion detection system.
